My review

This is a  short sci-fi novel by Vasilieus Kalampakas who is also the author of  Party of five.I have to say, unlike Party of five, this novel doesn't lack information. Argo is a beautifully knitted story with a fantastically written narrative.  This story is about machines wanting to rule the humans.
The  central character is Philetheus who is captivated by the machines for loving and giving birth to his daughter as any sort of love and procreating by humans is forbidden by the machines. As a consequence, he loses his wife and daughter. Heraclea, the adorable and loving daughter of Philetheus and Penthaselia was very disturbing in the end.I was totally acquainted with Philetheus  and I found his  feelings  really implausible.

This novel shook me in an unexpected way because what if mankind is truly ruled by the machines. The way in which Philetheus attempts to save his daughter was so touching.I was a bit confused as to whether or not his daughter is alive.I could imagine the petrified image of Philetheus in finding his daughter and at the same time dealing with the machines. Thanks to the author for giving a free copy of this astonishing novel. It was a great experience reading it.

My rating 4.5/5
